Create a New Document with Writer the Openoffice word processor

New Document

When you open OpenOffice Writer it opens with a new document ready for you. When Writer is already opened you can open another new document by clicking

File >> New >> Text Document

The title of the new document is always Untitled1 and can be seen on the Title Bar

When you save this document you will be prompted to give the document more meaningful name. This name will appear on the Title Bar
